Hot Liquor Tanks (HLT)

Being able to maintain your temperatures while brewing is crucial. These hot liquor tanks can set your beer up to be the best it can possibly be. Brewing great beer, especially brewing enough to distribute in stores or in a brewery, is all about consistency. Maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the sparging step of the process by using a hot liquor tank is how you can ensure that your beer comes out great every single time. The water that will eventually become the beer itself needs to be at a specific temperature when you add it into the mash. The hot liquor tanks you’ll find here at Craftmaster Stainless are expertly designed to get your liquor to the correct temperature quickly as well as maintain that temperature until you’re ready to put it to use. When trying to figure out the correct size needed for purchasing your hot liquor tanks a good rule of thumb is to double the size of your Brewing system. If you plan do Double batch frequently, we recommend a hot liquor tank up to three times the size of Brewhouse.
